Mission

Suceava Theatre Company is a project of the Joseph Schmidt Association. Suceava Theatre Company provides an intimate environment for the performance, study, and appreciation of classical and contemporary theatre, with a commitment to cultural enrichment and enjoyment for all. Suceava Theatre Company provokes, produces and cultivates the work of artists whose visions inspire and challenge all of us.

Overview

Suceava Theatre Company was founded in 2008 by its artistic director, Andras Chiriliuc. It is a widely theatre company in restoring and reviving small and big masterworks by great writers and innovating theatre based on children’s literature.

SVTC tours its family and adult programs both nationally and abroad. Its audiences know the Company for its theatrical expressiveness, high production quality, excellent technique, and accessibility. Its aesthetic roots are in the Stanislavsky tradition of the Teatr Russe.

To Schedule an Audition:

You may make an appointment to take Company class. Class takes place Monday through Friday at 8:00 pm. Please email Iulian Ignatescu, to schedule an audition.

Men should have strong, clean technique and good partnering skills. Women must have advanced theatre work and refined classical skill.
Please bring a photo and resume to the audition.

Audition Dress Code:

Please be dressed appropriately for a theatre company audition.

Women: A simple evening dress.
Men: A simple evening suit.
